Trying out a PARKOUR SPEED COURSE set by APEX SPEED RUN! 😮‍💨

Published: 2025-01-09 12:30:02 (3 weeks ago)

FIRST VLOG OF 2025!
Well, actually it's technically done last year, but it has been quite a ride, and lots of vlog footages I filmed last year are sitting in my hard disk waiting to be edited... So I'm going to make it a point to get them posted as much as I can.

This one's a special one because I really enjoy coming up with speed courses, but this one's designed by Ryan Ford (@ryanford1) from Apex Speed Run (@apexmovement) It's a very tiring one for sure. And I wanted to showcase how I break down speed runs in general, my thought processes, basically the entire training session as well and I hope that it would be something of interest to you guys!

Love that the course covered the entirety of the parkour park AND back, it'll be crazy to see this as an actual comp course one day... (you have to come here during the early hours of the park before kids invade... hopefully someone else tries this out! Good luck!). It's on the Apex Speed Run Google Maps here: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1qOq-qniep6ZG1yo9KdK1LsQ7zyvHyzY&usp=sharing

*Do note that official course does have a different start/end checkpoint (time starts when feet touches the inside of park floor, ends when feet touches concrete (in which I've scored a 20.21s!)

Thanks for Nigel and Tom for filming and training together on that day.
